With over twenty-five years of experience, we bring a broad range of experience to every project. IWS offers innovative strategic development, facilitating and producing solutions to environmental and water problems.

Terry Buchholz, PE, CWRE has twenty-five years of progressive and responsible consulting experience. She is a professional engineer registered in Oregon, Washington and Nebraska. Terry is experienced in water and watershed management, planning and design; stream restoration; and environmental management and studies. She is known as a water resources and environmental innovator in the Pacific Northwest. Terry has worked extensively with municipalities and irrigation districts on stormwater/surface water management, infrastructure improvements and environmental compliance.

Previous to founding IWS, Terry spent 3 years as a Vice President for David Evans and Associates, 8 years as a Vice President for HDR Engineering, Inc, and nearly 15 years with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

Lauren Buchholz is an award-winning communicator and graphic designer with five years experience in marketing and communication process.She has extensive experience in effective communication process, visual communication and brand development. Lauren is a graduate from Pacific Lutheran University where she was awarded Associated Students of PLU's Director of the Year award, Leader of Distinction, Lambda Pi Eta (communication honors) and Sustainability Fellowship.

Previous to joining IWS, Lauren was a Public Relations Director for the Associated Students of Pacific Lutheran University, Senior Designer for Emmy award-winning MediaLab and Marketing Specialist for Cascade Regional Blood Services.
